Hello Magazine
Jordan, congratulations on your engagement. Who proposed to whom?
"We both did. Nobody had to go down on one knee, it was a joint decision so there wasn't a formal proposal as such."
What was your parents' reaction?
"When I said to my mum: 'There's something I have to tell you'. She guessed straight away. Warren gets on really well with my parents. Dad and Warren even go to the gym together. Warren's trying to train him up to be a contestant on Gladiators next year!"
When did you first meet?
"Just after Christmas. I had gone along to see a panto in Chatham with a mutual friend, and that's where we met. On the way home I kept asking : 'Who was that?' Phone numbers had been exchanged, so we called each other up, and things went on from there."
Where did you go on your first date?
"We went to see the Jennifer Aniston film 'Picture Perfect'. The next time we went out was in London, to Brown's nightclub, and pictures from that night ended up in the newspaper. I thought: 'Oh! no,. I hope this doesn't ruin things'. Because we hadn't been together very long. But it was fine."
What makes this relationship special?
"As well as being in love, we're great friends. I'm quite an insecure person and I need reassuring all the time, but Warren makes me feel wanted and that counts a lot with me."
Have you made any wedding plans yet?
"We've got to find a place to live first, but I'd prefer a fairytale church wedding. Loud organ music, a white dress, little bridesmaids, a horse-drawn carriage and loads of family and friends."
When you were growing up did you always want to be a glamour model?
"Yes. When I was younger I always used to say: 'One day I'll be famous'. When I was 17 I sent a picture up to an agency and within a week of signing I was in 'The Sun' five days in a row."
Why have you said that you'll stop going Page 3?
"I want to do other things like more fashion campaigns. I don't really want to do topless stuff anymore."
What did you make of 'The Sun' readers vote on whether or not you should have your breasts enlarged?
"They did it twice. The first time last year, a lot of photographers called up saying: 'Don't have it done, you're better natural'. Even my friend Melinda Messenger didn't think I should do it. So I backed out three times. But I've had a whole year to think about it now and last week I switched off my phone and went in and had them done. They were 34-36 B-C and now they're a D cup. They aren't that much bigger than before, but now they're fuller."
Warren, what was your reaction to Jordan's breast enlargement?
"I knew that she always wanted it done. She was put off at first because of how it might affect her career but it's always been only a personal issue with her. But I was worried how they would look because originally she wanted to go quite a bit bigger and I thought she might overdo it."
How do you like Jordan to look?
"I don't think she has to wear revealing outfits all the time, she looks beautiful in what she's wearing today. She doesn't need to have her cleavage sticking out, or be in a cat-suit to look good."
Jordan, in five years' time where do you see yourself?
"Hopefully, I'll be successful with the singing, but there are so many other things that I want t do, like acting. I'll do them one at a time first!" |
